In-bounding after a violation
After a violation, the ball will be given to the other team to in‐bound. One player from the in‐bounding team will take up a position outside the court along the side line nearest to where the ball was when the violation occurred. The rules for in‐bounding after a violation are the same as for after a goal, except that the in‐bounding player is not permitted to move along the side line.
Note: No player is permitted to enter the area within a one-meter radius from the point on the sideline or end line where a throw-in is taking place. This one-meter radius is in effect from the time the referee blows his whistle to indicate that the ball is live until the ball is released by the in-bounder.
